Jazz Places

Participants in the eyeJAZZ Training Program have completed their first assignment: Show us a jazz PLACE in your community. Students responded to the assignment in many different ways; as you'll see in their videos, below, the results show the wide variety of places jazz is being created today: from clubs and cafes to churches and schools.

  1. I want to thank everyone for their creative efforts and interpretations - every video shows a unique perspective that is jazz, and it's happening all over the planet in places very few realize. This has really spurred my creativity to discover new ways to tell people about it!

  2. I wish I knew about this program on time.
I've been teaching myself video for journalism purposes..
I have a page on facebook called : Something about harlem
There i have videos and pictures posted
If late comers are accepted, I am interested
    Thank you

  3. I'm sorry we didn't get word out to you in time! Just looked at "Something in Harlem" and there are some great videos there. The eyeJAZZ Training Program, unfortunately, is almost over but if you email JoAnn at admin@jazzjournalists.org there may be some ways we can find for you to participate in a continuation of the program.
