eyeJAZZ Training Program begins

The 2011 eyeJAZZ Training Program was launched March 17 with the first of a series of online webinars on video shooting, editing and distribution and journalistic issues related to the production of eyeJAZZ videos.

Everyone is invited to learn to make eyeJAZZ videos along with the official trainees;  the recorded webinars as well as other training resources will all be available to the public on the eyeJAZZ Training website.

Thirty-three trainees were selected from 180 applicants from around the United States and several other countries to receive a Kodak Zi8 pocket video camera and to take part in the core training program. The original design of the training program was expanded when applicants who were not selected as core trainees were invited to view the live webinars, submit training assignments for critique by eyeJAZZ instructors, and participate in an online training forum.

eyeJAZZ trainees and others have already begun to make eyeJAZZ videos; outstanding examples will be posted here at eyeJAZZ.tv and at the eyeJAZZ Facebook page.
